Broadcasting 3days before the extradition appeal of Assange in London "We Steal Secrets", a 2013 documentary deceptive even in its title, entirely aimed at criminalizing the journalistic activities of WikiLeaks.

🥊 ON THE OTHER SIDE: The Internetz

Broadcasting over PeerTube a playlist of 5 documentaries (dated 2019 to 2021) all fact-based, researched and truthful.

Which side are you on?

My book is FREE on amazon from Now until Thursday.

Reminder that downloading this boosts my exposure by pushing me up the rankings :)

We all hate amazon, so, thanks to @georgia you can also get it for free, forever, with no DRM

Please consider clicking download on the Amazon page even if you never intend to use the Amazon version, and most of all, i hope you like it.

Did you know: Software needs a free license to be considered as "free"? Adding no license means that all copyright remains to you by default.

Please check that your repos are under a proper free and open-source software or content licence.

Also check the new article about licensing that was contributed to the Docs a few days ago

Poetry, ~700 chars

In an effort to get people to look
into each other’s eyes more,
and also to appease the mutes,
the government has decided
to allot each person exactly one hundred
and sixty-seven words, per day.

When the phone rings, I put it to my ear
without saying hello. In the restaurant
I point at chicken noodle soup.
I am adjusting well to the new way.

Late at night, I call my long distance lover,
proudly say I only used fifty-nine today.
I saved the rest for you.

When she doesn’t respond,
I know she’s used up all her words,
so I slowly whisper I love you
thirty-two and a third times.
After that, we just sit on the line
and listen to each other breathe.

Even though I am an Android developer and I use Kotlin on a daily basis, I cannot but agree with NewPipe here.

Converting from Java to Kotlin could lead to problems, specially when the !! operator is involved (because the automatic Java -> Kotlin converter puts sometimes the !! in the variables).

Don't do that.

Also, I still think we could keep doing Android apps in Java (specially that we have Java 11 now available for Android development). You don't have to use Kotlin if you don't want to. Don't be fooled.
